Boy Wildcat

“Pepper” is an adorable 2023 gelding who retired sound from racing after 2 starts, because he wasn’t fast enough to be competitive. But we think he’s a winner anyway! He is cute as a button and ready to be brought up right. Fill out an adoption inquiry form if you’re interested in coming out to meet him!

Reel Em In

COMPANION HORSE ONLY

“Nemo” is a 2018 chestnut gelding who retired from racing after 15 starts. Unfortunately, he developed osselets (bone growths) on his fetlocks while on the track from the high demand and stress of the sport. Because the joints are involved, it is not recommended that he not be ridden. He is comfortable now and we’d like him to stay that way, so we are offering him as a companion horse only. He has a goofy temperament and is gorgeous to look at - he would make a wonderful addition to any herd!

McMercelus

“Mercury” is a 2018 grey gelding, who retired after 22 starts due to a serious sesamoid fracture. He came to us very underweight and subdued. He spent some time in stall rest to heal his fracture and was treated for ulcers to help heal his gut to promote weight gain.

We are bringing Mercury back into work slowly and are looking for an adopter with patience. He is such a kind and special horse and needs to build a bond with his own person who will continue increasing his workload gradually and without pressure to perform as a sporthorse. He has lots of potential, an abundance of beauty, and is looking for his perfect match!

Moon Pie Money

COMPANION HORSE ONLY

Moon Pie is a 2021 filly who fractured her knee and shin, causing her to retire from racing after 3 starts. She has responded well to a PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatment to heal the fracture, but is not currently sound for riding. She does well living in a herd and gets along well with other mares.
